California Republicans have a real chance – the first one in decades, actually – to make inroads into the state’s crappy, Democrat-controlled political system on Tuesday. And President Trump is encouraging them to seize it.
California has a “jungle” primary system, whereby the top two candidates, be they Democrat or Republican, will face off against each other for the governorship in November.
Right now, depending on who’s polling you read or believe, Republican Steve Hilton is either No. 2 or No. 3 in a race with former Biden HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and left-wing billionaire and self-proclaimed climate activist Tom Steyer.
Becerra, by most polling, is leading, but Hilton is polling better or nearly even with Steyer. So getting to November for Hilton is absolutely within reach.
There may never be a better time for common sense Californians to begin taking their state back from the kooks, losers, and communists who have turned it into an expensive nightmare. And Trump can sense it:

Too early to tell as of this writing how the races will turn out. But clearly Republicans have a great opportunity to advance a candidate to the gubernatorial ‘finals’ later this year in a state where they’ve been political refugees for years.
Trump says: The moment is now for the GOP to begin taking back California. He’s 100 percent right.
