According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Christian’s 2024 charcoal gray Ram truck was located just off Highway 30 south of Erick, near a ravine by the Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area.
Due to the location, officials have been unable to immediately remove the body, delaying formal identification.
A large campaign sign for Christian was reportedly found discarded on prairie land near the search area. Christian was last seen driving his truck. He was reported missing Tuesday after failing to appear for a scheduled meeting.
Christian’s campaign described him as the “conservative choice” for District 38. He had pledged to stand with President Trump and fight for traditional conservative values.

Christian’s daughter, Brooklyn, issued a statement saying the family’s world had been turned “upside down.” She asked for prayers and for people to treat her father’s legacy with dignity while the circumstances of his death are investigated.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has referred to the location as a crime scene, though no official cause of death has been released.
Separately, Rep. Andy Barr, R-Ky. , announced the death of his longtime aide and campaign manager, Tatum Dale. Barr described Dale as the “heart and soul” of his team for over 15 years.
She had served in multiple roles in his congressional office and managed his U. S. Senate campaign. Barr highlighted her work helping veterans, seniors, and families, and noted her deep faith.
The deaths have drawn attention in political circles. No further details on the circumstances surrounding Christian’s death have been released pending the ongoing investigation.
